GURT are proud to announce the release of their sophomore album "SKULLOSSUS", which shall see the light of day on May 1st, 2017 via When Planets Collide.
In true GURT style this album is an absolute colossal record and once again raises the bar for their extremely unique form of 'Party Doom', never before have they truly expressed the full extent of their wide range of influences and this collection of 11 tracks encapsulates perfectly how they differ from every other band on the current UK DIY scene! Created over a week long period at 'Titan Studios' in Watford and crafted under the watchful eye of Producer Steve Sears and Co-Producer Tony Nigelson these songs feature a variety of big riffs, memorables hooks, massive choruses and some special guests!
When Planets Collide is also proud to present a tour of mammoth proportions, bringing together UK Party doom troop GURT and San Francisco Doom Metal trio BRUME who venture to UK soil for the first time. With these 2 WPC bands united for the first time we truly aim to bring the ying and yang of heavy music and cover all ground on what will be 5 days of crushingly heavy music and fun times. After which BRUME shall be going it alone for one final show appearing on the Saturday of this year’s DESERTFEST London on the HDP/WPC stage.
