Op 25 oktober 2016 komt Mary J. Blige samen met Maxwell voor een uniek dubbelconcert naar de Amsterdamse Ziggo Dome. De kaartverkoop voor het concert dat deel uitmaakt van The King and Queen of Hearts World Tour start aanstaande vrijdag 22 juli om 10:00 uur via Ticketmaster.
Mary J. Blige & Maxwell starten hun eerste gezamenlijke “co-headlining” tournee in oktober. The King and Queen of Hearts World tour brengt ze na stops in onder meer Frankfurt, Parijs en Oslo op 25 oktober in Amsterdam.
Maxwell’s laatste album blackSUMMERS’night’ verscheen afgelopen maand nog en is lovend ontvangen door critici. De tweevoudig Grammy Award winnaar stond in 2009 voor het laatst in Nederland in de Heineken Music Hall.

Een langverwacht nieuw album zal in het najaar verschijnen.
