A Colossal Weekend adds four more acts and is ready with day schedules and one-day tickets

The Copenhagen-based festival A COLOSSAL WEEKEND announces four more acts for its 2025 edition, taking place at Vega and Basement in Copenhagen from May 8th to 10th, 2025. The additions include KELLERMENSCH (DK), PALLBEARER (US), DAUFØDT (NO), and WHITE WARD (UA), joining a lineup that already features CHAT PILE, KYLESA, ORANSSI PAZUZU, and ELDER. In addition, the preliminary day schedules are ready and furthermore, one day tickets will be on sale from tomorrow, Friday Nov 29th, at 9 am CET.

KELLERMENSCH (DK) from Esbjerg have established themselves as one of Denmark's most prolific alternative rock bands since their debut album in 2008. Led by the charismatic singer and songwriter Sebastian Wolff, the band shines through their recordings with their powerful yet delicate songwriting and intricate arrangements, and live, they are widely regarded as one of Denmark’s best and most beloved acts.

The American doom rockers PALLBEARER (US) are trailblazers in their genre, balancing a respect for tradition with an adventurous spirit. Their latest album, Mind Burns Alive (2024), cements their reputation as masters of melancholy, a mood they deliver exceptionally well in their intense live performances.

DAUFØDT (NO) hails from Norway’s vibrant punk scene, delivering wild, high-energy concerts, which the Danish audience experienced in 2022, where they wrecked Roskidle Festival. The band will grace A Colossal Weekend with a focus on material from their 2024 album Glitter.

WHITE WARD (UA), from Odessa, Ukraine, is a rare and thrilling addition to the festival. Despite the challenges posed by Russia's invasion, the band has received special permission to tour briefly. They offer a unique fusion of melodic black metal and jazz, with saxophone as a key element, and their 2022 album, False Light, is widely considered a masterpiece.

The preliminary day schedules for COLOSSAL WEEKEND 2025 are as follows:

THURSDAY: ORANSSI PAZUZU, CHAT PILE, AGRICULTURE, MACHUKHA

FRIDAY: ELDER, KYLESA, WHITE WARD, FRAIL BODY

SATURDAY: KELLERMENSCH, GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT, PALLBEARER, BOSCO SACRO, DAUFØDT, JO QUAIL

More names will continuously be added to the lineup, with the final program expected to be announced in early 2025. The final program will offer 9-10 acts each day spread out on three different stages.

Tomorrow, Friday, November 29, at 9:00 AM, single-day tickets for A COLOSSAL WEEKEND 2025 will go on sale, and there will two types available for each day:

1) Single Day Ticket – 480 DKK / 65

Grants access to all shows, areas and stages on the selected day.

2) Single Day Ticket - SELECTED – 395 DKK / 48

Grants access exclusively to the main stage and the shows here on the selected day:

For the 9th time, the Copenhagen festival will bring alternative heavy music to the venues VEGA and Basement at Vesterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark. With an ambitious artistic program that crosses genres, breaks conventions, and focuses on depth and quality, A COLOSSAL WEEKEND aims to create a unique festival celebrating the offbeat and heavy — much of which can't be experienced at other Scandinavian festivals. Over three days from May 8th to 10th 2025, up to 30 different acts from around the world will take the stage at the festival.
