A COLOSSAL WEEKEND Announces Five Final Acts and Completes This Year’s Lineup

Today, A COLOSSAL WEEKEND announces the final five acts, thus completing this year’s festival, which will take place at VEGA and Basement in Copenhagen from May 8 to May 10, 2025.

The newly announced acts include the Canadian ‘post-everything’ collective RESPIRE, the industrial post-punk duo DAME AREA from Barcelona, the Polish/English cinematic metal quartet TELEPATHY, SOLVENTIS from France with their unique fusion of folk and synth music, and not least the Dutch headliner DOOL, who made a huge impression with their captivating and dark rock symphonies when they performed in Denmark for the first time last year.

These four new names join a massive lineup featuring headliners such as CHAT PILE, ORANSSI PAZUZU, ELDER, KYLESA, PALLBEARER, ZOLA JESUS, and KELLERMENSCH. In total, the festival’s program includes 31 acts, spread across the three festival days as follows:

SATURDAY: KELLERMENSCH, GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT, PALLBEARER, BOSCO SACRO, DAUFØDT, JO QUAIL, ZOLA JESUS, THE SEVEN MILE JOURNEY, GRAVA, LASER NUN performing ‘Under Folkets Hus’, DAME AREA, RESPIRE

Last week, A COLOSSAL WEEKEND announced that festival passes are sold out, thus selling out faster than ever before. A COLOSSAL WEEKEND can now also confirm that this year’s festival will take over VEGA’s main stage, Store VEGA, for the first time. There are still two types of single-day tickets available for all three days, including the SELECTED Ticket, which grants access to the main stage, Store VEGA, on the chosen day.

For the 9th time, the Copenhagen festival will bring alternative heavy music to the venues VEGA and Basement at Vesterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark. With an ambitious artistic program that crosses genres, breaks conventions, and focuses on depth and quality, A COLOSSAL WEEKEND aims to create a unique festival celebrating the offbeat and heavy — much of which can't be experienced at other Scandinavian festivals. Over three days from May 8th to 10th 2025, 31 different acts from around the world will take the stage at the festival.

A COLOSSAL WEEKEND is a non-profit, independent festival organized by VEGA in cooperation with a group of local partners.
