A New Day sign to Daze , unleash darkened metalcore single "THIS BEAUTIFUL DECEPTION"

Based out of south Texas, A NEW DAY are crafting metalcore that combines hair-rising heaviness with melody and electronic textures. Drawing influence from the emotionally driven and powerful sounds of early 2000s bands like A Long Winter, Hopesfall, and Broken by Silence, the band made their debut in 2025 with the So Close To Perfection... EP. Now, A New Day announce their signing with DAZE and the forthcoming HELD UNDER AN INCANDESCENT SKY EP out October 2nd. Across the five tracks, the six member band push the limits of dynamics into a unique, crushing sound.

Single "THIS BEAUTIFUL DECEPTION," out today, starts with distinctive electronic synth that becomes enveloped by monstrous riffs that lead into the feverish track. Growling vocals preside over metallic guitars and haunting melodies, building up to a devastating breakdown.

Vocalist Brenden Riker details on the tracks lyrics:

“This song is about a reflection on a discarded friendship. I wanted to relay the feelings and paint scenes by describing certain moments that can be seen as lonely, desolate, and painful to process. In the end you’ll always find yourself.”
