AB seeks emerging artist for giant mural

Just as AB likes to give a stage to emerging talent, we are now donating a gigantic canvas to an upcoming artist. Together with our partner Re=Bel By Belfius, we are looking for an up-and-coming illustrator or graffiti artist to cover a wall of no less than 10 m2 with art.

On that wall in our locker rooms, we would like to have a work of art that shows what AB stands for: a house that brings people -however different- together through their love for music and all that in the heart of our vibrant Brussels. In terms of style and interpretation, the artist is given carte blanche.

The locker room is well known to our loyal concert-goers: it is the place where you will safely drop your belongings before going to see your favorite artist with friends. So the mural will be able to be admired by many thousands of music fans. It’s a perfect launch pad for up-and-coming talent.

The winner of the contest will of course be compensated for his/her/their work and will be lovingly guided throughout the process by Propaganza, a collective of street artists dedicated to the development of graffiti and urban art in Belgium.

To participate, we ask candidates to forward a selection of five works or the link to their Instagram profile bio to info@abconcerts.be by June 21.

The only condition is that participants must be in the country by the end of August to come and paint our wall.
