Above & Beyond celebrate 'Anjunabeats Volume 17' with London pop-up event

Above & Beyond celebrated the launch of Anjunabeats Volume 17 with a special one-off pop-up event at London's 26 Leake Street, transforming the underground venue into a packed, sweat-soaked celebration of the label's next chapter.

Hosted in front of a limited-capacity crowd of dedicated fans, the event offered a rare opportunity to experience Above & Beyond at close quarters. With the stage surrounded on all sides, fans were close enough to high-five the band throughout the performance, creating an atmosphere that felt worlds away from the arenas, amphitheaters, and festival stages the trio has headlined across the globe.

From the opening moments, the energy inside the room was palpable. Fans danced shoulder to shoulder throughout the night, turning the intimate tunnel venue into a euphoric showcase of the Anjunabeats sound today.

The evening featured several special moments celebrating music from Anjunabeats Volume 17 and beyond. Longtime Anjuna favorite Oliver Smith joined Above & Beyond onstage to mark the release of his new remix of the iconic trance classic "Fiji" by Atlantis. Later in the night, station2station joined the Above & Beyond during a performance of their collaborative track "Hi-Tech," adding another surprise moment for the packed crowd.

One of the biggest reactions of the evening came during "Feel The Vibe," Above & Beyond’s cover of the Axwell and Errol Reid house classic from 2008, set for release on Friday alongside the full compilation. As the record dropped, the entire room erupted, with fans clapping in unison and jumping together from wall to wall. Equally memorable was the response to the Club Mix of beloved “Sailing Off The End Of The World,” which inspired a massive singalong as voices echoed throughout the venue, creating a powerful moment of connection between the band and their audience.

The event - to be available via YouTube this Friday - marked the official launch celebration for ‘Anjunabeats Volume 17,’ the latest installment in Above & Beyond's iconic compilation series. Spanning 35 tracks across two mixes, the compilation showcases both longtime Anjunabeats artists and the next generation of talent shaping the label's future.

Following a four-year hiatus for the series, ‘Anjunabeats Volume 17’ arrives June 5 on digital platforms, CD, and, for the first time in the series' history, vinyl. The compilation is currently available to pre-order on CD, vinyl, and as a digital pre-order exclusively on the Anjuna Music Store.
