Above & Beyond release their Group Therapy 700 Deep Set, recorded live at The Gorge Amphitheatre
Above & Beyond have released their Group Therapy 700 Deep Set, recorded live at The Gorge Amphitheatre during the opening night of their recent ABGT700 weekend.
Deep Sets have become a tradition at Above & Beyond’s milestone Group Therapy celebrations, giving Jono, Tony and Paavo a chance to explore the deeper, more progressive side of their musical world. At ABGT700, however, the tradition took on a new dimension: for the first time, the Deep Set was opened to the public, with more than 10,000 fans gathering at The Gorge to experience it in person.
Now available across DSPs, the 17-track mix moves freely between the worlds of Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep and Anjunachill, bringing together new music, unreleased material and fresh interpretations of tracks from throughout Above & Beyond’s catalog.
The set opens with a world debut of Above & Beyond’s “Eclipse”, a brand new ambient creation reminiscent of their renowned Flow State album, before moving into a slew of brand new remixes which revisit familiar moments from their catalog through a distinctly deeper lens: Yuvèe’s remix of “Tri-State,” Volen Sentir’s remix of “Good For Me,” Jody Wisternoff’s remix of “We’re All We Need,” PROFF’s remix of “Prelude,” and Braxton’s take on “Bigger Than All Of Us.”
The mix also reaches beyond Above & Beyond’s own music, with selections from Jamie Stevens & Fixation, Volen Sentir, PROFF (collaborating with Above & Beyond’s own Tony McGuinness), Ezequiel Arias & FJL, Bandēs, ANUQRAM & Julian Nates, kiskadee, and Jody Wisternoff & James Grant. Closing the set is Justin Blau & XIRA’s “Tokyo (Above & Beyond’s Broken Mix),” a selection from the upcoming ‘Anjuna:Chilled’ compilation that gives this Anjunabeats catalog classic an unexpected breakbeat reworking.
The release follows Above & Beyond’s memorable return to The Gorge for ABGT700, which brought nearly 20,000 members of the Anjunafamily together for three days of music across the Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep worlds. Friday’s opening festivities also featured Nourey, Amy Wiles and Grum b2b J Ribbon, setting the stage for Saturday’s main ABGT700 celebration and Sunday’s Anjunadeep Open Air.
The weekend took an unexpected turn on Saturday when high winds forced organizers to pause the event for approximately three hours. Once conditions allowed the show to resume, Above & Beyond returned to the stage in the rain for their main ABGT700 performance, now also available to stream worldwide and watch on YouTube.
ABGT700 marked Above & Beyond’s first Group Therapy milestone celebration at The Gorge since ABGT250 in 2017, continuing a relationship between the band, the venue, and the Anjunafamily that has grown over nearly a decade.

ABOUT ABOVE & BEYOND
Above & Beyond, or Jono, Tony, and Paavo, as they are better known to their legions of fans worldwide, have been at the forefront of electronic dance music for two decades.
Founders of the iconic Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep record labels and hosts of a weekly radio show that reaches millions of dance lovers every Friday (Group Therapy), the trio has earned two GRAMMYTM nominations for the anthems “Northern Soul” feat. Richard Bedford and “We're All We Need” feat. Zoë Johnston. In 2018, the band’s fourth electronic album, Common Ground, debuted at number three on the Official Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
Since then, Above & Beyond have continued to expand their global reach with their fifth studio album, ‘Bigger Than All Of Us,’ a record centered on reconnection and community, followed by a landmark North American amphitheater tour that brought their music to over 130,000 fans. The trio recently returned to one of their most iconic settings for ABGT700 at The Gorge Amphitheater, marking the newest milestone in their long-running Group Therapy series.
Described by UK music bible Q Magazine as “the world’s biggest cult band,” Above & Beyond's enviable list of sold-out shows includes headline performances at historic venues like Madison Square Garden in NYC, Hollywood Bowl, The Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall London, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, as well as record-breaking turnouts for their own festival events on LA's Huntington Beach and at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington State.
