Acab brik announces new single produced by no gods (Milk Teeth/Nervus)
After the release of their Debut EP, winter singles, in the Spring of 2020, acab brik returns with the release of their brand new single, all the right ways, out on January 13th through Beth Shalom Records. For the first time, collaborating with producer no gods (aka. Em Foster of Nervus/Milk Teeth), all the right ways is the first half of the upcoming double-a-side, a million awful.
Since touring the UK in their other projects itoldyouiwouldeatyou and Nervus, both acab brik and no gods began work on 5 tracks together when the UK entered into its first national lockdown, these tracks were soon whittled down to the two that make up a million awful
Discussing the creation of the release, no gods goes on to state; ‘When the first lockdown happened I hit up Joey and asked if they wanted to hear some stuff I had been making because I was playing around with what I could make remotely and in a somewhat confined space. We’d been on a tour together and they kept ad-libbing over the Nervus samples during soundcheck. It was really cool to make music that is somewhat outside of my technical comfort zone in terms of production, re-working a Nervus tune and building something entirely from scratch. I love how it was so naturally collaborative and democratic.’
