acab brik - 'winter singles' out May 1st via Beth Shalom Records

‘I made these tracks over about a week starting in January 2020. They served as a jumping off point for a whole new style of writing for me which I have since developed extensively. Think of this EP as sort of a prologue to the rest of the music we’ll put out this year. These are literally the first three acab brik songs, so it made sense to do them first. If you swap ‘love hurts’ and ‘old pain’ they’re actually in chronological order of when they were written over the week.'

'They were produced by me, co-written by Chevy Blazer and mastered by acab leblanc. The guitars on ‘killer’ are played by acab body. Lyrically, these are two songs about pain with a song about escaping it (‘love hurts’) sandwiched in the middle. Like all my work, the general message is about overcoming pain, but there are a lot of steps in that process.’
