Alaska Gold Rush presents new single Arsonist today

“Arsonist”, the second single from the duo's upcoming album, depicts two young partners in crime hanging around after school. An immersive dive into childhood and carelessness with a mid-90's flavor.

Alaska Gold Rush’s third album “Human Flare” will be released on April 29, 2022, on the independent Belgian label Luik Music and the French Cowboy À La Mode and Ideal Crash. Ten luminous tracks on the theme of humans in their relationships with others. Recorded and mixed in Brussels by Gaethan Dehoux (Témé Tan, BRNS, Alpha 2.1), this new album focuses on melodies and dynamics in a careful production. Every video has been directed by Renaud in a displayed desire for consistency between music and images.

Alaska Gold Rush carves its free folk garage into folk songwriting to extract new forms. The Belgian duo unfolds its stories in songs dressed in poetic texts and subtle melodies with an impressive guitar-drums combination. Renaud Ledru (guitar, vocals) and Nicky Collaer (drums) fill the whole space, going back and forth between intensity and delicacy in a haunting, wavy movement. Two Gallants meeting Big Thief.
