All Points East headliner announced: Chase & Status present RTRN II DANCE takeover

All Points East today announce a new collaboration with the powerhouse electronic duo Chase & Status who will headline the celebrated East London festival for the first time on Saturday 16 August as part of a RTRN II DANCE takeover. General tickets go on sale at 10am GMT on Thursday 13 February via www.allpointseast.com.

Chase & Status say, “Bringing RTRN II Dance to Victoria Park this summer is massive for us and to do it with these artists is super exciting for our home town. We’re ready to bring the energy and make it a night to remember with everyone who’s been on this journey with us.”

Known for blending elements of drum and bass, dubstep, grime, and hip-hop, Chase & Status have consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic music to become one of the most successful acts to come out of the UK, with multi-platinum selling albums, numerous charting singles, and a win at last year’s Brit Awards for ‘Producer of the Year.’ They hold five Top 10 albums, including No More Idols and Brand New Machine which both reached No.2 in the UK Official Charts. With 2024’s single with Stormzy, ‘BACKBONE’ they achieved their first No.1 single, whilst also being nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ at this year’s Brit Awards. They have also been nominated for ‘Best Dance Act’ at the Brits.

The dynamic producer duo, Saul Milton and Will Kennard, have crafted an impressive catalogue of hits over the years, teaming up with renowned artists including Kano, Plan B, Stormzy, Craig David, Becky Hill, Stefflon Don, Liam Bailey, Tom Grennan, Emeli Sandé, Tinie Tempah, and many more, while also lending their production talents to Rihanna. Trailblazers Chase & Status are the embodiment of reinvention and refinement, constantly evolving while staying true to their roots. Fusing cutting-edge beats with state-of-the-art production, they deliver high-energy tracks primed for clubs and festivals alike.

For the first time, Chase & Status will bring their specially curated RTRN II DANCE festival to All Points East for an exclusive one-day event. Previously held as a three-day festival in Tenerife in October 2024, RTRN II DANCE is a curation of Chase & Status’ rich history, and here’s hoping the sunshine follows us to East London!

For the inaugural London event, Chase & Status have put together the best of the best of the current UK electronic scene. An incredible line-up of handpicked special guests including Overmono. Heralded as one of the UK’s most original contemporary live electronic acts, Overmono had a run of ground-breaking club EPs between 2020 and 2022, building momentum and culminating in their breakthrough club single, ‘So U Kno’, which encapsulated the hearts of clubbers and went on to become a bonafide phenomenon as dancefloors re-opened; featuring in end of year lists published by Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, DJ Mag and Mixmag. Since then, Overmono have been named ‘Best Live Act’ at the prestigious DJ Mag Best of British Awards, taken their custom audio-visual live show across the globe, and released their debut studio album, Good Lies, which peaked at No.1 on the UK Dance Album charts.

Sammy Virji, an English DJ and record producer renowned for his dynamic presence in the UK dance music scene. He made a mark with his debut album Spice Up My Life, which peaked at No. 7 on the UK Dance Albums Chart. Transitioning from bassline to UK garage, Sammy's versatile style has captivated audiences, with his 2023 single ‘If U Need It’ and most recently, ‘Damager’. Plus, Sammy has two huge sold out Brixton Academy shows next weekend 31 January and 1 February.

Nia Archives is returning to All Points East. A new-gen junglist and creator of UP YA ARCHIVES, Nia Archives refuses to be confined to one label. Since her emergence in 2020, the 24-year-old producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, and visual artist has been at the forefront of jungle’s new wave. Her collagist soundscapes have introduced the genre to a new generation of clubgoers while earning her an impressive list of accolades. She placed third in the prestigious BBC Sound of 2023, and has previously won the MOBO Award for ‘Best Dance / Electronic Act,’ whilst being nominated again this year twice. This year, the Yorkshire artist made Brit Awards history as the first-ever Junglist to receive three nominations in one year. She’s up for ‘Best Dance Act’ and ‘Artist of the Year,’ following her ‘Rising Star’ nomination in 2023. In just a few years, Nia Archives has cemented herself as an essential name in dance music.

Chase & Status join previously announced All Points East 2025 headliners RAYE (Saturday 23 August), Barry Can’t Swim (Friday 22 August), and The Maccabees, who are headlining their first show in eight years on Sunday 24 August 2025. More All Points East headliners are still to be announced.

For 2024, All Points East welcomed another round of huge headliners Kaytranada, Loyle Carner, Mitski, LCD Soundsystem, APE presents Field Day and The Postal Service & Death Cab For Cutie and carefully curated guest lineups for each day.
