Allusinlove to release debut album ‘IT’S OK TO TALK’ - Out June 7th

allusinlove are a four-headed monster. A rock and roll band that play pop music in high-velocity assaults. They make music to move you. Music to fuck to. Music to fight to. Music to fall in love to.

The band – consisting of Jason Moules (Vocals/Guitar), Drey Pavlovic (Guitar), Jemal Beau Malki (Bass), Connor Fisher-Atack (Drums) – has existed, under various guises, for around six years. Originally from Castleford, an old mining town in West Yorkshire, they were brought together by a mutual love of smoking weed and the hazy idea of forming a cross-dressing band, with little aim other than to shock people for the hell of it. When their first gig, on Halloween night 2012, resulted in eight bookings in as many weeks, they knew they were onto something altogether more special.

Ahead of their first London live date and yet another UK tour, cult Leeds band allusinlove today announce their explosive debut studio album, ‘It’s OK To Talk’, out June 7th via Good Soldier Songs. The announcement follows the release of new single ‘All My Love’, a roaring classic rock anthem and a firm live favourite from the band’s rioutous live shHaving played together as a band for almost 6 years, allusinlove returned last year following a self-imposed hiatus with their irresistible call to (each other’s) arms ‘All Good People’, the ‘allusinlove EP’ and a free 4-date hometown residency at legendary Leeds venue Brudenell Social Club. As a long established, infamous and prolific live act, allusinlove felt compelled to capture the raw energy of those Brudenell shows as live album ‘Live At Leeds’ (released last week) before embarking on their ambitious, expansive debut studio album ‘It’s OK To Talk’, produced by Catherine Marks (2018’s UK Producer Of The Year; St Vincent, Wolf Alice, PJ Harvey)

“We’re incredibly proud to present our first long playing record. This album is a musical expression of all our love, positivity and unity - an insight into our perspective of the world around us and what it offers or demands from us. In a society that is so divided we want to offer some release, understanding and unity in the form of just fucking great music. It really is okay to be upset, anxious, hopeless, excited, happy and it’s even more okay to talk about it.” - allusinlove
