Alpha 9 Debuts on Dreamstate Records With Immersive Trance Single “Dark Matter”

Alpha 9 is debuting with his new single “Dark Matter” via Dreamstate Records. The new track marks the next phase of his vision as he rolls out immersive, episodic releases that reveal a deeper layer of the character's story.

Alpha 9 is the artistic alias of veteran producer Artem Stoliarov (widely known as ARTY), a trance-driven project showcasing his world-building skills as he transports listeners into a deep space odyssey soundtracked by classic trance and progressive music.

"Dark Matter" is an instrumental cosmic trance track, marking the return of the highly classified Russian—an augmented bio-AI entity on a mission to uncover the secrets of the universe. Playing out like a transmission from a sci-fi thriller, the record hurtles through the abyss as twinkling keys, ambient cinematics, and hyper-layered synth leads skyrocket through the mix as the last hope for humanity.

Alpha 9 is sharing journal entries with every track, a diary shedding light on the story and meaning behind its creation. The project was reprised in 2017, after a seven-year hiatus, leading to its debut album 'New Horizons' in 2023, featuring Fractures, Scorz, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Brandon Vendetta, Running Touch, with standout singles "Calling" and "Down to Love," which amassed 1.8M and 1M streams, respectively. He's set to embark on a tour including stops at Dreamstate SoCal, EDC Thailand, as well as a special A9 mix.
