American pop-rock trip Waterparks release new single "You'd Be Paranoid Too (if Everyone Was Out To Get You)"
Pop-rock trio Waterparks have released a brand new single and music video, "You'd Be Paranoid Too (If Everyone Was Out To Get You)", taken from their forthcoming new album, "Greatest Hits", out 21 May via 300 Entertainment.
Most bands wouldn't name their new album "Greatest Hits". Waterparks aren't most bands. The Houston trio - Awsten Knight, Otto Wood, and Geoff Wigington - are just ballsy and bold enough to pull off calling their fourth album, Greatest Hits (300 Entertainment), and actually deliver on the promise of that moniker. See, the boys continually rewrite the rules of what a band can do in the 21st century.
While the death of the Rockstar was lamented time and time again, they quietly emerged as a new school grenre-pillaging phenomenon in an old school way: by busting their asses in the studio and on the road.
As they usher in the Greatest Hits era, the band only pick up the pace. Waterparks has garnered a cult following for their animated musical stylings. 2019's FANDOM elevated them to new critical and commercial peaks. Marking a series of career bests, it landed at #2 on the Billboard Top Alternative Albums Chart, granting their first Top 40 debut on the Billboard Top 200. KERRANG! rated it "KKK" and MTV admitted, "We have no choice but to stan." As the band nears 400 million cumultative streams to date, it yielded fan favourites, including "I Miss Having Sex But At Least I Don't Wanna Die Anymore", "Turbulent", and "Watch What Happens Next".
