Ant Viu release their debut single "Tired"
Swiss-based indie pop duo Ant Viu delivers pop songs adorned with catchy guitar melodies that deal with the human condition and often have a bittersweet undertone.
The debut single “Tired” describes the phenomenon of always being tired, even though you seem to be healthy. “Fatigue or TATT (Tired All The Time) is probably a widespread disease that affects people all over the world. And I can tell you a thing or two about it,” says Tama. Nevertheless, the song radiates lightness with its catchy guitar riffs and dreamy melodies.
Ant Viu is an indie pop duo from Chur, Switzerland, made up of Tama Carigiet (vocals, guitar) and Immanuel Giger (lead guitar). The duo emerged from Tama's solo project Everboy, which Immanuel joined. The result: dreamy and smooth indie pop. Live, the band has expanded to include musicians Jeannine Weber (bass), Joshua Bergamin (drums) and Simon Steiner (percussion). Ant Viu is based on the English term ant’s view. “Lying in the grass and looking at the world from below instead of from above. We like that in many ways and it puts things into perspective.”
