Avarice drop new studio album today

Danish metal force AVARICE have unleashed their new full-length album “Perpetual Ruin”, out now via Mighty Music. The band’s second studio album is a relentless exploration of humanity’s darkest patterns; a soundtrack to the endless cycle of ambition, downfall, and destruction.

Across ten devastating tracks, Avarice channel the aggression of classic death and thrash metal through a modern, dynamic approach, combining crushing riffs, intense rhythms and the raw energy of hardcore with melodic death metal influences. The result is a record that balances brutality and atmosphere, driven by themes of ancient civilizations, morality, punishment, and the destructive instincts buried within human nature.

Produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Kreutzfeldt (Cabal, Møl, Ghost Iris), “Perpetual Ruin” captures Avarice at their most focused and powerful. Following the acclaimed self-titled album “Avarice” (2023), the new record sees the band pushing their sound further, delivering a darker and heavier statement that reinforces their position within the Danish metal scene.

Originally formed in 2006, Avarice built their name through explosive live performances and appearances alongside both international metal acts and some of Denmark’s leading bands. After a 13-year hiatus, the band returned in 2021 with the “Reborn In Blood” EP, marking a new chapter and introducing a heavier, more aggressive direction.

With “Perpetual Ruin”, Avarice continue that resurgence with an album designed to hit hardest at full volume. A record forged for the stage, where the band’s intensity and uncompromising energy truly come alive.
