Basic-Fit Turns Its Amsterdam Gym Into a Dancefloor for ADE 2026, Headlined by CARISTA
Basic-Fit, Europe’s leading fitness provider, is joining Amsterdam Dance Event as an official partner as ADE celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, taking the ADE experience somewhere it's never been before: the gym.
Nightlife is quietly shifting, people trading last call for early starts, and community built over a workout instead of a drink. CARISTA, whose own life runs on early flights and early gym sessions as much as late sets, brings that shift straight into the scene, with Basic-Fit right in the middle of it, turning the gym into a venue that's true to the brand's own values of accessibility and inclusivity.
On Saturday, October 24, Basic-Fit will transform its Stadhouderskade club in Amsterdam into an intimate dancefloor for the first edition of the Feel Good Club; a new morning experience bringing together music, movement and community, from 10:00-13:00, free and open to everyone (pre-registration required).
On top of that, all 250 Basic-Fit clubs across the Netherlands will open their doors free of charge to ADE Pass holders throughout ADE week, making this much bigger than a single event.
Please find the full press release below and the press kit here.
Would you be interested in covering the news today? Happy to arrange interviews with CARISTA and/or Basic-Fit's CCO on the thinking behind the partnership, or check availability if you'd like to attend the event on October 24.
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you,

Basic-Fit Joins ADE as an Official Partner for New Morning Experience Concept Headlined by CARISTA
Basic-Fit transforms its Stadhouderskade gym into an intimate dancefloor on 24 October, bringing music, movement and community together during ADE’s 30th anniversary with the first edition of the “Feel Good Club”
Thursday, September 17th - Basic-Fit, Europe’s leading fitness provider, is joining forces with Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) as an official partner as ADE celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Together with Surinamese-Dutch DJ and producer CARISTA, Basic-Fit will bring music, fitness, and community together through “Feel Good Club”, a new event specially organised for ADE visitors who want to experience the energy of a club night during the day in a unique, healthy way, on Saturday, October 24.
The Feel Good Club featuring CARISTA will take place at Basic-Fit’s Stadhouderskade Club in Amsterdam. This morning experience will see the gym transformed into an intimate dancefloor, creating a different kind of experience during one of the world’s biggest electronic music gatherings. Instead of ending the night on the dancefloor, attendees can start their ADE Saturday there, with music, movement and positive energy in an unexpected fitness setting.
The event will feature a line-up of talented DJs, with CARISTA headlining the experience and bringing her distinctive sound to the Basic-Fit setting. Her set will set the pace for the morning, setting the tone for a different kind of ADE experience.
The Feel Good Club featuring CARISTA will take place from 10:00 to 13:00 on 24 October and will be free and open to everyone, whether they are heading into a full Saturday of ADE or simply looking for a different way to experience the festival. Pre-registration is required.
Beyond music, training and movement are a regular part of CARISTA’s life and routine, creating a natural connection with a partnership built around music, movement and collective energy. The Feel Good Club featuring CARISTA brings music and movement together in a new setting, creating a different way to experience ADE beyond the traditional club and festival environment.
Commenting on the partnership, Erica van Vonderen-Hahn, CCO of Basic-Fit, said:
“Partnering with Amsterdam Dance Event gives us an exciting opportunity to bring together two worlds that are increasingly connected: music and wellbeing. With this event, we’re creating a space for people to experience the collective energy of music and movement, while staying true to what Basic-Fit stands for: making fitness accessible, social and part of people’s everyday lives. CARISTA is an important part of that story, bringing her experience as an artist together with the way training and movement fit into her everyday life. We’re excited to see this collaboration come to life during ADE.”
Jorinde Boom, Head of Partnerships at ADE, added:
“With more than 1,200 events taking place across Amsterdam, ADE is always about finding new and unexpected ways to experience electronic music. At the same time, maintaining a healthy balance between the physical and mental demands of our industry is becoming increasingly important. Together with our partners, we want to explore these topics in ways that feel natural to ADE. This collaboration with Basic-Fit brings those two worlds together, connecting entertainment and wellbeing through music and movement in a completely different setting.”
Furthermore, commenting on the collaboration, CARISTA said:
“Music and movement have always been connected for me. DJing and touring are physical, and training has become an important part of how I take care of myself and stay grounded alongside everything I do as an artist. I like that this collaboration brings those worlds together in an unexpected way. Starting an ADE Saturday on a dancefloor in a gym is definitely a new one for me, and that’s exactly what makes it fun.”
