Belgian-Iraqi trio Use Knife drop new single & live dates

Today Belgian-Iraqi band Use Knife drop a new single ‘État Coupable’ feat Canadian-Lebanese musician Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (Jerusalem In My Heart).

A series of new live dates have been announced including gigs at Rewire (NL), AB Brussels (BE), Donaufestival (AU), Trix (BE), dunk!festival (BE) and Poppodium Tilburg (NL) among others.

Use Knife is the exciting result of the raw synergy between Iraqi vocalist and percussionist Saif Al-Qaissy — who fled war-torn Iraq — and Belgian musicians Kwinten Mordijck and Stef Heeren, known for their passion for analog synths and organic wind instrumentation.

‘État Coupable’ is the second single of Use Knife’s upcoming album ‘État Coupable’ (VIERNULVIER Records, March 28) and features Radwan Ghazi Moumneh on buzuq and synths. It’s the only track on the new album that has Stef Heeren singing in English, addressing those that need to be addressed in the Western World's lingua Franca.
