Benni releases new single queen of cove
Following in the footsteps of artists such as Damien Rice, Daughter or Phoebe Bridgers, Belgian singer-songwriter Benni — born in Vielsalm — gives life to her songs in an utopian yet authentic universe of her own. With her captivating indie-folk sounds, she distinguishes herself through her unique voice, capable of turning sadness into compositions of profound beauty. At just 24 years old, Benni has already shared the stage with Coeur de Pirate, November Ultra, Clara Ysé, Sharko, and Roscoe.
After the critically acclaimed debut single September 20, the melancholic Make Me Blind, and ahead of performing at Fifty Lab Festival in Brussels, Benni today unveils Queen Of Cove — the third single taken from her forthcoming debut EP to be released early 2025 — and announces her signing to [PIAS] Recordings.
“Queen of Cove is about the end of a break-up, when you realise that it's over, that you have to close up and move on. There's still pain, but we're using it to brave the currents and look straight ahead.”
With her crystalline voice, innate sense of melody and intimate, powerful lyrics, it won't take much for Benni to touch your heart.
