Berlin Trio Gheist Unveil Third Album Single 'Decourse'; An Ode To The Worldwide Return Of Festivals & Clubbing

GHEIST return with third album single, ‘Decourse’ out today. Taken from the forthcoming LP, ‘Zukunft’, the Berlin based trio follow on from singles ‘You’ and ‘We Are Not Alone’, all of which are released on their own Radau Music imprint.

Keeping true to form, the latest single ‘Decourse’ sees GHEIST pour emotion into their releases through the use of elevating and euphoric music techniques; giving a deeper look into what to expect from their 13-track album which is due this Autumn.

With deep rooted foundations in the craft of song composition and writing, GHEIST carefully craft each song to evoke feeling from deep within. Following the tumulus past 18 months, the trio have re-evaluated their approach towards music creation. The outcome is ‘Zukunft’, where each song has been t ranslated from piano chords and progressions to detailed and layered electronic music productions aimed squarely at the return of clubbing and dancefloors, but also with the home listening contingent in mind.

‘Decourse’ through the use of staccato synth rhythms grabs the attention, pulling the listener in to hear the detailed production that lies behind. Building to crescendo GHEIST layer this amongst a solid breaks inspired beat that rolls and collides against the stabbing tones of the powerful album single. Continuing the theme from previous single, ‘You’ which breached new territory for the band as they continue to move away from sample culture and into their own unique space.

Forthcoming album title ‘Zukunft’ translates directly from German as ‘Future’, one which GHEIST continue look toward with collective optimism. Their long affinity with song writing, composition and melody has defined their process of crafting powerful electronic music; each song a story, a feeling or a moment that has been experienced by all. Now as clubs, festivals and events return, GHEIST are excited to be able to share their work with the world once again.
