Berre releases new single "Kissing Strangers", out today
Berre’s new single ‘Kissing Strangers’ will surely live rent-free in your head from today on. Berre about ‘Kissing Strangers’: “Kissing Strangers is about how a person can turn out to be someone totally different after a relationship. Seeing them become a stranger you never thought t hey could be.”
Berre teamed up again with the ‘Say My Name’ dream team; and we all know what that means: a catchy melody and chorus to sing along to. The story behind the song is very relatable and you immediately get the vibe. ‘Kissing Strangers’ was written together with FriendsFromCollege, Haris Alagic and Chris James. FriendsFromCollege also produced the single.
About Berre
Berre Vandenbussche (22 years old) started recording covers of his favorite artists in his garage and a parking lot near his parents’ house. His touching interpretations of his favourite songs soon got him noticed, and when he posted a version of ‘Lost Without You’ (Freya Ridings) on TikTok, the video went viral reaching 10 million views.
In May 2022, Berre released his first single ‘Say My Name’, which was an instant hit and gained a lot of success. The track reached #1 on Belgian Airplay, #4 in the Belgian single charts and has also reached Platinum in Belgium. He quickly got to perform on stages & festivals he used to dream of, and he performed on national as well as international radio and TV shows (The Voice of Poland). ‘Better Off Alone’ was the perfect follow-up single that showcases Berre’s unique voice. ‘Better Off Alone’ reached Gold in Belgium as well.
After two ballads it was time to take it up a notch. And he surely did with his third single ‘Thrill Of It All’. It’s a more up-tempo song that started off really great in Belgium, which resulted in the Belgian airplay charts entry at #4! ’Thrill Of It All’ is the first Berre track that popped up in the German airplay charts as well and also got airplay in France, The Netherlands and Poland.
