Betontod release 'Traum von Freiheit' live clip!

Last Friday, one of the most important representatives of German punk rock since more than 25 years, BETONTOD, released their new Blu-ray/2-CD »1000x Live«! This new album includes live footage of the band's 1000th concert on December 17, 2016 in the "Mitsubishi Electric Hall" in Düsseldorf, where more than 3500 fans have made it the biggest concert in the band’s history - but this isn’t the end of the story yet!

It has taken nearly twenty years to turn the band from a hobby into a professional living, which BETONTOD have pulled off. Playing over 1000 concerts, releasing 7 studio albums (their release »Revolution« reached #3 in the official German charts!) and 3 live albums as well as performing twice at the biggest metal festival of the world, Wacken, shows that they know what they are doing!

"The mainstream will never like us because we’re different! We’re different than all the other acts that are played every day. We aren’t smooth, we have rough edges... and it’s good the way it is!” Writer and composer Frank Vohwinkel’s statement explains the ethos of BETONTOD. Shying away from mainstream coverage on the radio and in press, the band exude a DIY attitude and it’s what drives them as a band.
