Biesenrock invites you to bring yourself a camping chair

Biesenrock invites you to bring yourself a (slight) camping chair to our floored tent. A seating zone will be provided. Friday September 4th and Saturday September 5th our festival commemorates the 50th years celebration of Jazz Bilzen with concerts of Uriah Heep, Don Airey (Deep Purple, UK), The Wild Romance, The Scabs, The Kids and many more.

Because we want to take into account the comfort of our audience Biesenrock decided to allow light folding chairs in the tent. Our tent is large enough and also paved. Which is also nice in case of bad weather. A seating zone will be provided in the second half of the tent so they will not get in the way of the public in the front zone.. This way, Biesenrock shows they care about people with limited mobility.

Biesenrock 50th anniversary of Jazz Bilzen will literally brighten. Florists of known FleurAmour will build a Jazz Bilzen-floral artwork on the meadow. Additionally Biesenrock got their hands on unique photographs from the fifty-years history of Jazz Bilzen, which will be exhibited.

Biesenrock kicks off at 16:45 pm on Friday, September 4th, just opposite the beautiful Castle of Alden Biesen (Bilzen, Belgium). Uriah Heep, The Kids, Don Airey (Deep Purple, UK) and Dany Lademacher's Wild Romance (Herman Brood) will come back to the festivalground in Bilzen after all those years. Additionally, bands will bring musical tributes to bands that played in Bilzen like The Cure, The Police and Thin Lizzy.

Biesenrock also provides a place for talent from their own area with Civilian and Hell City and various great coverbands like Koyle, Jeff B..R.I.C.K. and Captain Caveman. And as icing on the cake on Friday, The Scabs will headline. Belgium’s most famous rockband was never on the legendary Jazz Bilzen because they failed for the talent competition. So, we set things right now. Last but not least the entertaining punk/hardcore/metalband Belgian Asociality will play on Friday.

The drink prices are kept low as last year. The presale will run until Thursday night.
