Bloody Valkyria releases “Requiem: Reveries of the Dying”

More personal and melancholic than its predecessor, the new album steps away from the grand battles of high fantasy and turns inward, exploring the sorrow-filled mind of a dying man. Across seven tracks, Bloody Valkyria shapes that theme through melodic and atmospheric black metal, balancing introspection with a strong sense of scale and mood.

At the center of the album is Jere Kervinen, who wrote the music and lyrics and also handled the recording, performance, production, and mix at Moonless Home Studio. The result is a focused and cohesive work that carries a deeply personal tone throughout.
