Wormholedeath is thrilled to present the latest video from Belgium’s electro-fun-metal mischief-makers BOUM PATAT. The track, “Mort Subite,” is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Ma Belgitude, due for release 31 October 2025.

Blending heavy riffs, pounding rhythms, and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, “Mort Subite” is a darkly humorous anthem about living fast and embracing the inevitable. With its ironic church-mass setting, the video raises an eyebrow (and a glass) at life’s most certain outcome. The result? A track that’s equal parts existential reflection and chaotic party fuel. BOUM PATAT is the new electro fun metal project by Belgian musician Olivier Wittenberg, former drummer-composer of Manic Movement. In the 2000s, he toured Europe with bands like Kreator, Moonspell, and Psychotic Waltz, and played major festivals such as Graspop Metal Meeting.

After a long break, he returns with Ma Belgitude, a self-produced solo debut that blends heavy metal, Belgian humor, and old-school electronic sounds. BOUM PATAT breaks metal’s usual codes—serious and absurd at once, mixing groove, industrial, and electronic punch with offbeat themes and playful visuals.
