Broken Brass releases their new album 'BROKE'

On April 22nd the next level brass band Broken Brass releases their new album 'BROKE'. The band is explosive and energetic, they combine the energy of brass with the attitude of rock 'n' roll, the drive of funk and the flow of hip-hop.

On this album the band reflects on the past few years, which was a battle for any live band. The band is broke when it comes to finances, but certainly not when it comes to inspiration and perseverance. 'BROKE' is about becoming broke, but continuing to work hard, pursuing your goals and ambitions, persevering and having faith in a good outcome. These past years gave the band the opportunity to reflect at the personalities and international diversity of the band. But also at the past achieved successes and to discover where the strength of the band lies.

Broken Brass just finished their album tour with full venues in a.o. Leeuwarden, Utrecht and Amsterdam. They have a busy summer with shows all across Europe. With shows at Zwarte Cross (NL), Oerol (NL), Kendall Calling (UK), Secret Garden Party (UK) and at the biggest European brass festival Woodstock der Blasmusic (AT).

The band has already played over 500 shows all across the globe. Broken Brass is therefore a live band par excellence. Energetic and eclectic, mixing punchy bass with blaring brass. The nine have conquered clubs and festivals in nearly 20 countries with performances at VH1 Festival (India), Secret Garden Party (UK), Fusion Festival (GER), Zwarte Cross (NL), Paaspop (NL) and more.
