Brutalismus 3000 releases "Europaträume"

After Brutalismus 3000 returned from their completely sold-out European tour last Saturday and tore the Columbiahalle apart at the grand finale in Berlin, the rave phenomenon have finally dropped the video for their highly praised single "Europaträume", which has already been streamed more than a million times.

The clip was shot by creative director Mau Morgó, who has already worked with Rosalía, FKA Twigs and James Blake and knows how to capture the vibe perfectly. From the Späti to the underground station, lost souls sleepwalk through the deserted ruins of a long-gone idea. Collective somnambulism amidst an urban backdrop of pale grey skies and the cold glare of neon lights. But when the shut eyelids twitch softly and the bruised bodies clench one last time, you know that somewhere sweet dreams are still being dreamt.

At least the sold-out European tour has already become a reality. After gigs in the major cities from Paris to London and Amsterdam in front of 26,000 spectators, the duo recently proved once again in Berlin's Columbiahalle why everyone is currently talking about them and their distinctive crossover sound.

Victoria Vassiliki Daldas and Theo Zeitner combine early gabber and hardstyle with elements of punk and wave and create an entirely unique soundtrack to the zeitgeist out of these initially very different influences. The German, English and Slovakian lyrics add a very special diversity to the duo's performance with their very varied rhythms.

The duo joined forces at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and released the much celebrated EPs "Amore Hardcore" and "Liebe in Zeiten der Kola" in the same year, followed by the duo's first viral hit "Satan Was A Babyboomer" in 2021. With the "Eros Massaka" EP and the track "Romantica", which was streamed almost 20 million times, as well as remixes and collabs with Ellen Allien and Yung Hurn, Brutalismus 3000 proved once and for all that they were anything but a fast-moving online phenomenon. In 2023, Brutalismus drop their debut album "Ultrakunst", which includes another streaming hit, "Die Liebe kommt nicht aus Berlin".

At the same time, Brutalismus 3000 are not only destroying everything on record, but also on stage. Fast, raw kicks and extraordinary synths meet classic sounds from the 909. Brutalismus 3000 have also made a remarkable impact with their performances on Berlin's streaming channel Hör and at the Boiler Room Festival.
