Ceasar Augustus Debuts On Discovery Project With Bass House Cut “BACK TO LIFE”

New York-based DJ CEASAR AUGUSTUS is debuting on Insomniac’s Discovery Project with brand new single “BACK TO LIFE,” a vocal-driven progressive track about the restorative power music can have for those drowning in darkness.

CEASAR AUGUSTUS is a Cosmic Academy graduate channeling his background as a songwriter, drummer, trombonist, and producer to carve out his own lane in techno, a fusion of cinematic, mainstage melodies with bigroom energy.

The captivating vocals in “BACK TO LIFE” illustrate the revival with an expressive, nasally vocal tone that gradually builds into commanding hooks, while orchestral-inspired builds give way to uplifting progressive leads designed for peak-time moments.

The track was the winning submission for the Discovery Project DJ / producer competition hosted at this year's EDC Las Vegas, handselected by guest judge Kaskade. It earned him a slot to perform at the festival’s 2026 edition, as well as this release on the label.
