Céline Dion: 'Live in Paris' Returns on Vinyl for Its 30th Anniversary
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of 'Live à Paris', Celine Dion’s beloved live album is now released on vinyl for the very first time. Arriving just ahead of her highly anticipated shows at Plenitude Arena next week, the new double LP edition is available now here.
Recorded in October 1995 at Le Zénith in front of 6,000 fans, 'Live à Paris' was first released on CD and VHS in October 1996, followed by a DVD release in November 2003. Three decades later, this definitive live collection is reimagined for vinyl with a new sequence and tracklist (see below), drawing from both the original CD and video releases to create a cohesive and expanded listening experience.
Available in both Golden Tan and Lavendar Honey coloured vinyl, as well as classic black, and with an eight-page booklet of photographs and lyrics, the double LP set also includes a special bonus studio recording of 'À Paris.' Written by Francis Lemarque, the iconic chanson has become a symbol of the city itself and adds a unique studio complement to the electrifying live performances.
'Live à Paris' captures Dion at a pivotal moment in her career, performing highlights from 'D’eux' – the best-selling French-language album of all time – alongside global hits and timeless classics. The album features standout duets with Jean‐Jacques Goldman, including 'Les derniers seront les premiers' and 'J’irai où tu iras,' as well as powerful renditions of 'The Power Of Love,' 'River Deep, Mountain High,' and Jacques Brel’s 'Quand on n'a que l'amour.'
In addition to Live à Paris, fans can also purchase a 12” of Celine’s latest singles 'Bonjour, Pardon, Merci”/ “Dansons', and 14 of her catalogue titles are also released on vinyl today in a new pearly white colour vinyl. Available for purchase here. This expanded catalogue offering gives fans an opportunity to rediscover some of Celine’s most celebrated albums in collectible LP format. See list of albums below.
