Chat Pile and Agriculture added to the line-up for A Colossal Weekend 2025

After two recent lineup announcements, A COLOSSAL WEEKEND is now adding two more massive names to the festival, which will take place at Vega and Basement in Copenhagen, Denmark from May 8th to 10th, 2025. The new additions are noise rockers CHAT PILE and the avant-garde black metal ensemble AGRICULTURE, joining a lineup that already includes headliners like KYLESA, ORANSSI PAZUZU, and ELDER.

When CHAT PILE burst onto the scene with their album 'God’s Country' in 2022, it was met with great enthusiasm from critics across the board, and their live performances have not gone unnoticed either. The band's concert at Roskilde Festival in 2022 received 5 hearts from Politiken, with the following comment: "Yes! Finally, some grumpy Americans came by and pissed all over the cozy atmosphere." When Chat Pile visits A Colossal Weekend, it will be with their new album ‘Cool World’ in tow, and it will definitely NOT be cozy!

American avantgarde black metal band AGRICULTURE hit the stage with great force with their debut EP ‘The Circle Chant’ in 2022, followed by the self-titled album in 2023. It became clear that this is a visionary band that both honors and transcends the tropes of black metal with ecstatic music that provides insight into the impenetrable layers of the human psyche. The Copenhagen audience experienced this first-hand when the band delivered a sublime concert at Ideal Bar in September, and now they return to the capital.

The daily schedules will be announced at the beginning of 2025, where single-day tickets will also go on sale. More acts will be announced continuously, with the final lineup expected to be ready in early 2025.

For the 9th time, the Copenhagen festival will bring alternative heavy music to the venues VEGA and Basement at Vesterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark. With an ambitious artistic program that crosses genres, breaks conventions, and focuses on depth and quality, A COLOSSAL WEEKEND aims to create a unique festival celebrating the offbeat and heavy — much of which can't be experienced at other Scandinavian festivals. Over three days from May 8th to 10th 2025, up to 30 different acts from around the world will take the stage at the festival.
