Chronosphere Festival announces full line-up for its debut edition in Góis, Portugal

Today Chronosphere Festival announces the full line-up for its debut edition, bringing a carefully curated programme of electronic music, art, nature and wellbeing to Parque de Lazer do Baião in Góis, Portugal, from 18–20 September 2026.

Across three days and one stage, Chronosphere will bring together different genres and generations of electronic music. Detroit icons Moodymann and DJ Stingray 313 lead the programme alongside Gerd Janson, HAAi, Young Marco, Dan Shake, Bambounou, Elkka, OK Williams, Marie Montexier, Nicolas Lutz and ISAbella. The line-up moves between house, techno, electro, indie dance and downtempo, creating a continuous journey designed for discovery as much as headline moments.

Set within the forests of central Portugal, approximately one hour from Coimbra, Chronosphere unfolds across the banks of the Rio Ceira. The festival’s riverside setting is embedded in the experience, with a bridge connecting both sides of the site and guests able to swim in the river’s warm, shallow waters between sets. Limited to 2,500 people, its one-stage format creates an intimate and walkable festival where the audience can follow the complete musical programme without clashes.

Accessibility for neurodivergent audiences is at the heart of the Chronosphere project. Designed for neurodivergent minds and open to everyone, the festival will feature dedicated areas for quiet time and regulation, low-stimulus spaces, noise-controlling headphones, sensory-aware planning and Safety Angels providing assistance throughout the site. Ticket buyers will be encouraged to add their needs on registration, allowing for personalised attention on site. Reserved areas near the stage will provide more room and easier access for guests who need it.

A dedicated space with clear sightlines will also support deaf and hard-of-hearing guests, offering room to experience the music through both sight and vibration, while Portuguese Sign Language volunteers will be present across the festival. The programme has been developed with neurodivergent people and specialist partners, including Associação Portuguesa Voz do Autista.

Sustainability is equally rooted in the festival’s relationship with Góis, the Serra do Açor and the Rio Ceira. Chronosphere will plant one tree in the region for every ticket sold, alongside reuse-focused bar and vendor systems, waste planning from the design stage and measures to reduce disposable plastics. Working with local authorities and organisations, the festival also aims to support forest protection, wildfire awareness and a longer-term programme of environmental regeneration.

Camping is included with every weekend pass, with the campsite opening at 14:00 on Thursday 17 September. The festival site opens at 09:00 on Friday 18 September, with music beginning from midday and continuing into the early hours across all three days.
