C'Mon Tigre new video ‘Behold The Man’ - album out on K7

Taking inspiration from a science fiction novel from 1969 by Michael Moorcock, the story is about a modern version of the first human being, who appears on earth as an adult child, being enthusiastic for discovering the great jew that freedom can give, the liberation of body using the metaphor of dance. Something that makes you lose the brakes, make you sweat and feel good. Then it happens that when you come into contact with other human beings who are like you learning to manage their freedom, you stumble on the concept of limit, that we represent as a clash between bodies that bumping themselves making happen weird reactions. Plus a grand finale, in which we will dress our human beings with shining metal, like an evolution of the species and an even stronger movement in search of freedom.

The ten tracks of "Racines" were born in moments of intimacy: for C'mon Tigre the initial core of compositional ideas must strictly belong to the dimension of instinct, of naturalness. But then there is that urgency to let the nucleus explode and give life to other ideas and suggestions, and for this to happen the exchange with other musicians and the creation of an extended and geographically sprawling family is fundamental. Hence the involvement, in "Racines", of Danny Ray Barragan aka DRB, Mick Jenkins, Pasquale Mirra, Beppe Scardino, Mirko Cisilino, Marco Frattini, Jessica Lurie, Amy Denio, Tina Richerson, Sue Orfield, Alessandro Rinaldi, Henkjaap Beeuwkes.
