The cosmic sound duo Sounds Of New Soma is nominated for the German Schallwelle Award in the categories National Artist and National Album!

Schallwelle is the German award for musicians and active people in the field of electronic music. It honors the achievements of these people, both from the point of view of an experienced jury and from the listeners and lovers of this musical style. At a festive award ceremony, schallwende e. V., together with labels, media representatives and event partners, present the annual prize, which is awarded in several categories, for the previous year in each case.

The new album from Sounds Of New Soma titled Musique Bizarre is scheduled for release in May 2022 through Tonzonen Records. The album will be released as a double LP, CD & Digital.

The idea for the new album is a collaboration between musicians from Tonzonen label bands with the sound/ avant-garde & neo-krautrock duo Sounds Of New Soma.

The result is different, always exciting songs that draw a comprehensive picture of the sound cosmos, which the musicians contributed and finally completed by Alex Djelassi and Dirk Raupach. The mastering has once again contributed Eroc (Grobschnitt).
