CustodyMusic releases new song "Skyfall"

This is CustodyMusic, Toronto artist and producer. My music is inspired by candid reflections of life and my telling new song "Skyfall" is just one of three singles being released leading up to my EP Changes that is scheduled to be released December 3rd of 2022 in its entirety.

"Skyfall" was inspired by the changes I was witnessing in people when they reached new heights. Oftentimes how they started treating others and the choices they were making, caused people to withdraw from their presence.

The song talks about how it is easy to let success change us, our self-importance can be one's downfall if not used in a positive way. When I was writing the song,I was thinking about how it is important to stay modest because some days you're up and some days you're down. You wake up every day not knowing what you are going to face that day and just when you're in too deep "forming your new religion" & you start falling like a shooting star.

I wanted the production to lean towards a futuristic sound, utilizing synthesizers and hard-hitting 808s. Watch the official music video on YouTube.

For the video, I collaborated with Toronto director Marcus Letts because he was the only one I was confident in to capture the vision. I also wanted to give off a more mysterious vibe, hence the mask I was wearing in the video. This was done so that viewers couldn't put a face to the message I am conveying
