Damiano David, Tyla, Nile Rodgers releases "Talk to Me"

The acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Damiano David has today released his brand-new single ‘Talk to Me’, featuring collaborations from South African sensation and Grammy Award winner Tyla and legendary, multiple Grammy Award winner Nile Rodgers.

‘Talk to Me’ feat. Tyla & Nile Rodgers marks an exciting collaboration that unites Damiano’s signature emotive lyricism, Tyla’s distinctive vocal style, and the unmistakable groove of Nile Rodgers. Out now via Sony Music Italy / Arista.

Damiano says: “As the tour was approaching, I unexpectedly felt a new wave of inspiration that led me to write ‘Talk to Me’. What made this spark even more exciting was knowing that the legendary Nile Rodgers thought the song worthy of adding his solo guitar. I always felt this song should be a duet, and since I've recently been listening a lot to ‘Water’. I was completely blown away and really wanted to have Tyla sing it with me.”

Tyla said: “Damiano sent me this record and I instantly fell in love with how nostalgic it felt. I heard myself on it straight away. Excited about how new it feels for me, my tygrs gonna luv ittt.”

Nile Rodgers said: “When I received the song from Damiano and Tyla, I really loved the vibe of it and I wanted my guitar to be the third voice. ‘Talk To Me’ was a fun one to work on!”

Following the success of Funny Little Fears, which features collaborations with Suki Waterhouse and d4vd, this new single further cements Damiano’s commitment to expanding his musical horizons through bold, boundary-pushing creative partnerships.

‘Talk to Me’ feat. Tyla & Nile Rodgers accompanies today’s release of Damiano’s Funny Little Fears Dreams. The new edition of his debut solo album features five brand-new tracks as a special gift to fans ahead of his massive world tour. The album also includes previously released singles, ‘Born With A Broken Heart’, ‘Silverlines’ produced by Labrinth, ‘Next Summer’, ‘Voices’, Zombie Lady and ‘The First Time’.

Damiano received a 2025 MTV VMA nomination for Best Long Form Video for his work on Funny Little Stories. Along with an MTV PUSH Performance of the Year nomination for single ‘Next Summer’.

Fans will be able to hear songs from Funny Little Fears live later this year as Damiano will embark on a massive 2025 global tour with dates across Australia, North America, South America, Asia and a completely sold out run of shows in Europe.

Encompassing over 30 dates across five continents, with multiple sold out shows, venue upgrades, and additional dates added, it is a true statement of intent as he continues to introduce himself on the world stage.
