Dan be makes his Insomniac debut with “Faith,” a kinetic breakbeat single arriving January 16th via Speaker Freaker. It’s a fitting homecoming for the Spanish-born, London-based producer, whose decade-long run of genre-defiant club music has steadily expanded the edges of electronic sound.

Built around a razor-sharp breakbeat groove, “Faith” threads syncopated percussion through layers of lofty rave stabs and lush vocal hooks. Gritty low-end modulations cut through the mix with precision, balanced by the track’s euphoric atmospherics and fluid melodic turns. The result is a vibrant, afterhours weapon that nods to the underground’s past while hurtling confidently into its future.

Introducing his new single by breaking down the elements that lend it true underground appeal, Dan be says, “‘Faith’ is an ode to late-night club culture. The track is built upon a gritty, chopped-up breakbeat backbone, complemented by ravey stabs and psychedelic vocals, all coming together with a mind-melting bass that will shake you to your core.”

In the works for years, “Faith” captures the evolution of Dan’s creative voice—a distilled reflection of his fascination with the experimental energy of breakbeat and jungle legends like Special Request, Tim Reaper, and Charli Brix. The track’s meditative intensity and dancefloor drive mirror his ongoing exploration of club culture as both a physical and emotional release.

A fixture of the UK’s forward-facing house and bass scene, Dan be has built an impressive catalog spanning labels including Slow Supermarket, Happiness Therapy, Gallery Recs, and Aterral. His collaborations with Kosmo Kint, Mogan, and 3kelves, alongside remixes for artists such as Alex Bone, Erratic, Bajazo, and Jai Piccone, and his take on “Millionaire” by Two Door Cinema Club, which has surpassed more than 640 thousand streams to date. His music has earned support from Disclosure, salute, Joy Anonymous, MJ Cole, Danny Howard, Jack Saunders, Eliza Rose, Barry Can’t Swim, TSHA, Myd, Junior Simba, and Laurent Garnier. His releases have become staples across Spotify and Apple Music’s editorial playlists, while BBC Radio 1 tastemakers like Pete Tong, Arielle Free, Jaguar, Sarah Story, and Charlie Tee have consistently championed his work.

Beyond the studio, Dan be’s hybrid sets have lit up venues including Village Underground and The Glove That Fits throughout 2025, culminating in a sold-out headline at London’s Whittoria Wharf last October. Rooted in his Spanish upbringing and refined through the UK’s restless underground, his music thrives on duality: soulful yet sub-heavy, intricate yet instinctive.

With “Faith,” Dan be steps boldly into a new chapter, reaffirming his commitment to boundary-pushing sound design and the timeless pull of the rave. It’s a track built for late hours, flashing lights, and those moments when the music becomes something to believe in.

Dan be’s new single “Faith” is available on all platforms via Speaker Freaker.
