Danish alternative rockers Diplomatic Immunity share music video for debut album track 'Both Eyes Open'

After two singles and videos, the Danish alternative rock n’ roll band DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY released its debut album ‘No weather, no cry, the desert don’t lie’ on September 6th 2023. It is a wholesome, melodic and relevant record, on which the band’s matured songwriting delivers both high energy rock and food for thought with its honest lyrics about life’s ups and downs and an adjacent mantra of looking ahead. Following up on the prior videos, the band now shares a energetic DIY video for the album track ‘Both Eyes Open’

The band states on the song: “Both Eyes Open is an anthemic rock song with a sneaking biblical energy. The song circulates around how bad habits are hard to fight, keeping you up at night even though you do everything in your power to resist them.”

Additionally, the band comments on the album release. “Creating our debut album was a hard process because of personal circumstances. We dealt with death, neglect and sickness. So for us, the album is not just a collection of songs, but a perpetuation of a time that was the hardest for us ever, and we believe, that we have captured every type of feeling from that period in those ten songs, which has created the rock album of the year. “

DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY has just played three successful German shows as main support for Wolfgang Van Halen’s band Mammoth WVH as well as a couple of DK summer dates, with one of those as main support for Danish rock legends D.A.D. and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. On November 9th, the band will play a show at HeadQuarters in Aarhus, Denmark with support from Deep Sea Low Tide - tickets are now on sale HERE. DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY was formed in 2017 by three childhood friends, who, after having been in differing types of bands through the years, got together again with the desire to play good, melodic and uncomplicated rock n’ roll. Since the beginning, DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY has developed a catchy fusion of decades of American and British hard and psychedelic rock with the 90’s heroes Nirvana as the musical glue binding together the vision.
