Danish electro death metal unit Lightchapter releases fourth and final single from forthcoming album 'Where All Hope Begins'
Today, the Danish electro death metal band LIGHTCHAPTER releases the fourth and final single, Restore My Faith in Sanity, from their second album, Where All Hope Begins, which will be out on September 26, 2025. The new album was created in collaboration with the legendary Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, Sick of It All, Behemoth, The Haunted, etc.). In addition to the new single, the band has already released the three tracks Revenge, Little Death, and What I Have Become as well as a Spanish version of Little Death titled Reemplaza Mi Rabia in collaboration with the Colombian metal band SYRACUSÆ.
Restore My Faith in Sanity continues the sonic evolution of LIGHTCHAPTER, blending their aggressive, riff-driven foundations with haunting electronic layers — a sound that nods to the likes of Gojira, Korn, and Sepultura, while staying rooted in the band’s own dystopian metal universe. The result is a track that’s both punishing and meditative, modern and timeless.
Frontman, guitarist, singer and lyricist Mikkel Ottosen states on the song’s theme:
“The track is a searing, visceral journey into the fractured corners of the mind — a cry for clarity in a world of noise. Lyrically, the song explores a powerful internal struggle to break free from destructive habits, thought loops, and emotional paralysis. It’s a battle between darkness and lucidity, a desperate yet determined push toward healing and personal redemption.”
LIGHTCHAPTER will be playing a series of shows in Denmark in the coming months, including a release party at Radar in their hometown Aarhus on September 27. Before that, the band will perform at the Ribe Metalfestival tomorrow, August 23. More shows will be announced soon.
