Danish neo-thrashers PERSECUTOR annonces Scandinavian tour dates

Danish neo-thrashers PERSECUTOR released their second album ‘Vendetta’ on Friday October 13th 2023 receiving great reviews around the world, while supporting the album with a homeland run of dates with DK thrash metal kings HateSphere and a sold out release show in Copenhagen.

Now, PERSECUTOR can reveal a string of dates for their Scandinavian tour this spring and states: "After a successful and sold out release show, we will now take Vendetta on tour, inside and outside the country! More dates will be added! See you on the road!"

PERSECUTOR was founded in Denmark in 2018 by a group of young musicians with the clear aim of playing aggressive, melodic thrash. The band moved as fast as their music, and in 2019, the hard hitting debut album ‘Rebirth' saw the light of day, followed by a handful of intense local shows, proving the band’s worth as an engaging live act. Following the pandemic in 2020, PERSECUTOR kept itself busy releasing the two standalone singles “Cannibal Island” and "The Blitz. and as the lockdown prevented live shows, the band dived deep into creating the second album 'Vendetta’.

On ‘Vendetta’, PERSECUTOR delivers on all fronts with its direct songwriting and razor-sharp riffing embedding classic genre traits with a modern approach, a keen melodic sense, varied arrangements and a lyrical theme spawned from the deepest pits of the human mind. As on the prior releases, Andreas Linnemann (Baest, Swartzheim, Hajn) is responsible for the clear and punchy production and the vivid artwork is created by Matt Hatting
