Renowned Italian pianist, producer, and composer Dardust unveils his latest single, Pavane Floue, available today. This release precedes two exclusive live performances and a comprehensive European tour.

Pavane Floue serves as a poignant reflection on imperfection, with "floue" (blur) symbolizing both visual and emotional nuances. The composition evokes imagery of an ethereal dance on deserted urban landscapes, encapsulating themes of decay and reminiscence.

The accompanying music video for Pavane Floue was filmed in Paris at notable brutalist sites, including Les Arènes de Picasso and Viaduc de Montigny, visually representing the fusion of geometric architecture and musical expression.

This single follows Dardust's acclaimed album, Urban Impressionism, released on November 8 under Artist First and Sony Masterworks. The album harmoniously blends music with impressionist art and brutalist architecture, challenging traditional artistic boundaries.

Urban Impressionism is an homage to Ennio Morricone and draws from both contemporary international influences such as Brian Eno and historical inspirations like Debussy. This latest work exemplifies an artist who, navigating between neoclassical, electronic, and his recent foray into film scoring, continues to seek new avenues of cross-genre experimentation.

"This album has a strong French influence, where it was born. However, I didn’t go to the classic impressionist locations like the Orangerie or the Musée Marmottan Monet, but instead outside the urban reality, where extraordinary brutalist architectures exist."

Dardust will present Urban Impressionism through two unique live performances:

March 12: Pirelli HangarBicocca, Milan – Sala Palazzi Celesti, amidst Anselm Kiefer's monumental concrete and lead towers.

March 14: La Nuvola, Rome – within the iconic structure designed by Massimiliano Fuksas.

Commencing on March 18, the European tour will span ten cities: Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, Brussels, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Utrecht, and London. The tour is produced by Metatron, Vivo Concerti, and ITB International Talent Booking.
