Das Pop returns to Ancienne Belgique on Friday 30 May 2025

Das Pop are back with a vengeance! After an excessively long hiatus, the Belgian band are getting ready for a pop party like no other at Ancienne Belgique on 30 May. Tickets will be on sale from Friday 27 September at 10:00.

Das Pop, the band centred around vocalist Bent Van Looy and Niek Meul , are back in town. Since the late nineties, the band’s contagiously catchy pop tunes have wormed their way into every available ear. Two years after winning Humo’s Rock Rally in 1998, Das Pop released their debut album ‘I Love’. Small wonder that the group want to double down on live performances in 2025, because what better way to celebrate their firstborn’s 25th birthday?

Bent and Niek have enlisted a pack of exceptional young musicians for the occasion and have already spent quite some time sequestered in a rehearsal room, dusting off their colourful songs. Armed with a battery of perfect pop songs, a wardrobe full of heart-rending outfits and, most importantly, a strong appetite for conquering the stage once again, Das Pop have announced a show at Ancienne Belgique on 30 May.
