David Solomon releases his first single of 2022 - ‘Heatwave feat. Robbie Jay’

Payback Records is pleased to present its first release of 2022: David Solomon’s “Heatwave,” featuring Robbie Jay.

With a groovy beat and smooth vocals from Robbie Jay, “Heatwave” is a warm slice of piano house that showcases Solomon’s clean and streamlined production. “Heatwave” encapsulates David’s evolution as a producer, as he continues to incorporate new musical influences—in this case, a funkier, UK-influenced sound.

David Solomon’s previous releases include “Someone Like You” (with Gia Koka), which reached #4 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart; “Learn to Love Me” (with Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder), accompanied by remixes from Benny Benassi and Morgan Page; and closing last year with the anthemic house release “Dreaming” (with SMBDY). He has collaborated with artists such as Haley May (“Electric”), Dzeko and Kool & The Gang (“Down on It”), and dynamic vocalist Alex Newell. Robbie Jay is a fast-rising singer/songwriter from London, UK. After beginning his career on YouTube, accumulating millions of views on his videos, Robbie has gone on to write songs with various artists across different genres, including Conor Maynard, Carla Fernandes, Professor Green & Ha Sung Woon. Through this process, Robbie's vocals came to the attention of many electronic artists, which led to him featuring on numerous releases with DJs such as DLMT, Lanné & KVR.
