Death Goals release brand new live session with rescheduled launch shows announcement

With the release of the debut album in early June, Death Goals have release a brand new live session for their tracks Shrike and Exit Wounds while also announcing the rescheduled dates for their album launch shows.

Releasing The Horrible and The Miserable to gain support from the wider community and the likes of Revolver Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan and Sumarian Records. Discussing the response to their full length debut, frontman and guitarist Harry Bailey states, "it has been mind blowing. We were prepared for just our friends being the ones listening to it, and we would have been perfectly happy with that. However, now we’ve got people all over the world calling it one of their favourite albums of the year and saying 'oh these lyrics really connected with me' or 'are making me feel better about my situation', like it’s just so bizarre to us."

Recording the live session with album producer Tom Hill (Modern Rituals, Muttering, Employed to Serve), the duo speak about putting together the session and what to expect from future Death Goals shows, "Shrike is definitely one of our favourite songs from the album and we knew we wanted to show it off in the live session, if anything just to get people excited to see us live (whenever that maybe). Exit Wounds was a track we feared might not get as much love on the album, what with it being less in line with our usual style so we really wanted to highlight it by putting it in the session, plus it shows off a different dynamic for the band with George taking lead vocals."

Their album launch shows, due to be the first of this line-up, are set to take place in late July before their recently announced appearance at the New Cross Inn's Upsurge Festival on August Bank Holiday weekend.
