Death Has Spoken announce first-ever vinyl release
The band’s third full-length album, Elegy, will be released on 180g black vinyl for the first time on September 11th, 2026. Issued by Meuse Music Records, the edition is limited to 200 copies worldwide.
Polish death-doom metal band Death Has Spoken are preparing their first vinyl release. Almost a year after Elegy first appeared on CD and digital platforms, the album will now be available in a format well suited to its seven original compositions.
Originally released in October 2025, Elegy is the final part of a trilogy that began with Fade. Its seven tracks combine crushing weight, melancholic melody and atmospheric songwriting, while continuing the band’s focus on mortality, loss and the unknown.
The vinyl includes the original artwork, a full-size lyric insert and a band photo. Greg Chandler of Esoteric mastered the edition at Priory Recording Studios in Birmingham, UK.
To preserve the best possible sound across the vinyl’s running time, this edition contains only the seven original Elegy tracks. The Agalloch cover included on the original CD and digital editions does not appear on the vinyl.
The release will be available through the Meuse Music Records store, Death Has Spoken’s Bandcamp page and at the band’s live shows.
To mark the release, Death Has Spoken will play two special concerts in Poland:
- September 11th — Sześcian, Białystok, Poland
- September 12th — VooDoo Club, Warsaw, Poland
