Deceiveth releases Cords @ Experimental Metal

I’ve been developing the DECEIVETH project for the past two years. The third EP, entitled Cords (to be released late October 2024 in digital limited run of pro CDr) refines the bleak industrial/metal/experimental ritual atmospherics the project was founded on. DECEIVETH is my book of shadows – inspired by the greats of my lifetime such as Skinny Puppy, Godflesh, Killing Joke, Celtic Frost, Dead Can Dance, :Wumpscut:, Ministry, Lycia... I’ve gone back to the basics of production and writing, using a multitrack machine and tangible hardware: vintage synths, dusty old drum machines and reverb units a malicious chain of fx pedals... The songs are part deliberate, part improvised - with lyrical themes from my life experiences, spiritual apathy, and a crooked path of the occult & the hidden - focused on the elements of earth, air, fire and water in constant flux of banishing and manifestation. The Cords concept references etheric cords – tendrils, chains, shackles that bind us to one another in resonance or distortion - the angelic and vampiric. It’s best that these are tended to before it’s too late.

It's been a long road... I was previously part of December Wolves, Trap Them and Extinction Agenda. I now follow DECEIVETH to its logical end, wherever that may be. Inspiration strikes, and the time is nigh to explore some new daemons. See you down there...
