Deorro, Stafford Brothers, and G4bba team up on new single ‘Cascabel (feat. Alé Kumá)’

A genre-bending Latin and electro house track that is as sonically impressive as the multi-platinum producers behind it, ‘Cascabel’ is headed by Deorro, Stafford Brothers, and G4BBA.

‘Cascabel’ blends tradition and innovation, incorporating the Stafford Brothers' trademark energy and Deorro's unmistakable production, bringing Latin music to the forefront of Electronic Dance Music. With vocals by Colombian artist Alé Kumá and production from Latin producer G4BBA, ‘Cascabel’ bites even harder.

For over a decade, Los Angeles-born and bred producer Deorro, or Erick Orrosquieta by name, has transcended musical styles, and international borders, and broken cultural barriers with his genre-defying expertise. Armed with the same songwriting mastery and musical fluidity of his formative years as a bedroom producer and local hero, Deorro is now a globally-certified, chart-topping, platinum-selling artist. Embracing the heart of his roots, 2022 was another groundbreaking year for Deorro courtesy of his well-received debut Latin LP ORRO. The engaging 19-track album, written entirely in Spanish, bridges the gap between mainstage electronic music and Latin dance music while simultaneously expanding on and innovating his signature style. Leonardo Gómez Jattin, AKA Alé Kumá, has dedicated his life, work, and art to Afro-Colombian music. Alé Kumá is the medium with who he merges different Colombian traditions, from the Caribbean to the Pacific Coast, or from the interior, into new compositions for music, theatre, or multidisciplinary performances, Alé Kumá focuses on the oral tradition, working with singers from all regions. Besides his key role as director of many traditional Colombian projects such as Cumbiafrica, Maria Mulata, Guafa Trio, and Cuarteto Canaguaro, Leonardo is also a researcher, composer, and poet. He has gained awards such as the composition of the Best Folkloric Song of Colombia at the Viña Del Mar festival in 2007 and the Fanny Mikey Prize for the production of the folkloric opera Maria Barilla in 2010.
