Destruction Bass-Playthrough for "Rotten" released

The new album of legendary German thrashers DESTRUCTION, »Born to Perish«, was released last Friday via Nuclear Blast. Today, the band presents a Bass-Playthroug video of the brand new track "Rotten".

Vocalist & bassist Schmier states: “Rotten has this classic triplet feel that differs from the rest of the songs on the album. It keeps the right hand pretty busy and has a powerful groove. It will sure be fan & band fave live in the near future!” The phrasing of the chorus has nothing to do with Jerseys best boys by the way, it is just the most effective way in English to describe a ruthless fucking asshole, that would kill for his success! We did these playthroughs because of the fan demand, I really hope you enjoy it!“

The recordings for »Born To Perish« took place from January to March 2019 in the Little Creek Studio in Switzerland under the aegis of long time intimate VO Pulver.

The stunning cover artwork was created by acclaimed artist Gyula from Hungary, who has also created artwork for ANNIHILATOR, GRAVE DIGGER, STRATOVARIUS, TANKARD and many more. The brand-new line-up featuring the Canadian drum animal Randy Black and Swiss shred-master Damir Eskić, together with veterans Schmier and Mike, is here to bring you musical destruction. This is a new chapter in the long, impressive history of the band.
