Distant release new single/video; EU tour with Despised Icon announced

Following their triumphant UK tour with Lorna Shore and Cabal, downtempo deathcore titans Distant have released a crushing new track, ‘Cursed’, via Unique Leader Records.

The band comment: “'Cursed' is a new chapter in the story of Distant. The story starts where Aeons Of Oblivion left off and takes us on a pilgrimage to the new dimensions full of despair.”

The single comes ahead of the Chaos & Carnage tour, where Distant join Suicide Silence, Carnifex, Lorna Shore, Upon A Burning Body, Signs of the Swarm and Angelmaker, which kicks off on 6th May in Sacramento. Distant will also play additional dates with Lorna Shore, & Signs of the Swarm, the first of which is on 29th April in Knoxville TN.

The band will then hit a number of summer festivals including Summer Breeze (DE), Summer Blast (DE) and Baroeg Open Air, before embarking on a tour an extensive European tour with Despised Icon, Decapitated, Brand of Sacrifice and Viscera. EU dates listed below

Hailing from Rotterdam, Distant have bludgeoned their way across Europe, with the release of their first two EPs Slither (2015) and Tsukuyomi (2017). They joined forces with Unique Leader in 2019 to release their debut full-length album Tyrannotophia, followed by the Dawn Of Corruption EP (2020) and Dusk Of Anguish EP (2021).
