Donna Blue announces USA festivals plus Dutch headline shows
Donna Blue, known for their distinctive vintage pop, announces two Dutch headline shows. They will play these headline shows prior to American festival shows at The New Colossus, New York and SXSW, Austin. To top it all off, they will also play Eurosonicin Groningen in the beginning of 2020. The band will play at V11, Rotterdam on the 5th of March, and the next day they can be seen at De Nijverheid, Utrecht on the 6th of March. Tickets for these shows are on sale now.
Recently the creative duo behind Donna Blue, each other’s muse, lover and band member, released new single ‘Desert Lake’. It’s a song about the Badlands every artist needs to cross while they do their work. It comes with a cinematic video, which captured the ambience of the song perfectly.
The band, who plays sultry indie pop under the influence of sixties yé yé and old Hollywood romance, is looking forward to playing the upcoming shows. “We are super excited to embark on this adventure, playing in the US is the dream! And of course having our own two headline shows serves as the most perfect send-off.” Thus the duo.
